Resident of Chechnya accused of discrediting militaries

Law enforcers have accused Aslanbek Arsaev of discrediting the Russian Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 4, 2022, Russia introduced liability for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. After that, residents of Southern Russia began to be held accountable: the maximum punishment for citizens is a fine of 50,000 roubles.

The administrative protocol against Arsaev has been submitted to a court of Grozny, the “Kavkaz.Realii” project has reported.

Earlier, lawyers noted that a repeated violation within a year of this article threatens with criminal prosecution.
