After two arrests, Ulker Gashimova is returned to Dagestan

After her arrests in the Moscow Region, Ulker Gashimova, a resident of Derbent, who tried to leave Russia, was sent to Dagestan, where law enforcers took away her documents and limited contacts with her.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 8, it became known that the 23-year-old Ulker Gashimova was arrested for 10 days. According to the court, she was charged under the article "Disobedience to the demand of a military in connection with the performance of his duties to protect the state border of Russia."

On May 5, it became known that law enforcers detained Gashimova at the airport while she tried to fly out of Russia. She had planned to apply for political asylum in the Netherlands.

Gashimova returned to Derbent after serving her two arrest terms, her bridegroom, Anton Kolomitsyn, has informed. Now, Ulker does not get in touch, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.

Earlier, Kolomitsyn said that law enforcers had searched Gashimova's home. A criminal case has been opened against Kolomitsyn in Russia under the article on the disclosure of state secrets due to his publication of topographic maps. In 2020, he emigrated from the country.
