Mobilized person from Kuban sentenced to six years for service evasion
In the Krasnodar Territory (also known as Kuban by the mane of the main river), a military court has sentenced Alexander Shupletsov, a mobilized local resident, to six years in colony, finding him guilty of leaving his military unit without permission.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 2, it became known that a court in Novorossiysk had sentenced Dmitry Tyurin, a contract military serviceman, to five years and two months of freedom deprivation, finding him guilty under this newly introduced part of the article.
The Novorossiysk Garrison Military Court has found Alexander Shupletsov guilty of leaving his unit without permission during the combat actions, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.
According to the verdict, from November 21, 2022, until April 17, 2023, Senior Sergeant Shupletsov "spent time at his own discretion" in the town of Krymsk, in Novorossiysk and at his home in a farm located in the Krymsky District.
On April 17, Shupletsov was detained by employees of the military commandant's office. "The defendant has admitted his guilt of being absent in his unit without good reason for more than one month during the mobilization period," the verdict says.
The judge has also ruled to deprive Shupletsov of his military rank.
