Resident of Akhtubinsky District fined for posting video in messenger
In the Akhtubinsky District, a court fined local resident Vladimir Ivaschenko 30,000 roubles, recognizing that the video posted by the local resident in a messenger discredited the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the investigators’ version, Vladimir Ivaschenko posted a 31-second video on WhatsApp*, which, as law enforcers suggested, distorted the objectives of the special military operation (SMO), the “Kavkaz. Realii”** reports.
The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that the court fined Ramon Tursunov, a resident of the Astrakhan Region, considering that his comments posted on the social network discredited the Russian Armed Forces.
*On March 21, 2022, the Tverskoi Court of Moscow banned the activities in Russia of the Meta Company, owning the Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, in connection with extremist activities.
