Two residents of Dagestan apologize for dancing at party
Two young men apologized for dancing at a party, admitting that their dance did not correspond to the mentality of people in Dagestan.
A video of the apology was posted by the “Sota” publication in its Telegram channel.
“I apologize for my inappropriate behaviour that does not correspond to our mentality and behaviour. Nothing like that will ever happen again in the future. I had no intention to hurt or offend anyone. Unfortunately, the video of the dance competition, filmed in a private circle, has become public,” said one of the men in the video.
As follows from the video posted in the “Echo of Dagestan” Telegram channel, two young men danced being accompanied with the Sam Brown’s “Stop” song. From time to time, one knelt in front of the other. The second took the first young man in his arms and went round and round with him. The dance was received with cheers from other people who came to the party.
Let us remind you that in October 2022, a young man who danced at the entrance to the city of Grozny being dressed in a pink dress apologized to Muslims.
The practice of public apologies, adopted in Chechnya at the initiative of Ramzan Kadyrov, has spread to other regions of Russia. So, in July, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan posted on the Internet an apology from an author of a comic advertising video in which a road traffic accident was played out. In their comments, social media users noted that the video had been filmed about five years already, and it was unnecessary to seek a public apology from its author.
