Woman from Kuban fined for discrediting Russian Army

The Apsheronsk District Court has fined Svetlana Lukashenko, treating her posts in a social network as discrediting the Russian Army.

Svetlana, a resident of the Krasnodar Territory (also called Kuban by the name of the main river) was fined by 30,000 roubles for her posts in social networks "aimed at damaging and undermining the authority and image of the Russian Army," the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project quotes the court ruling.

At trial, Svetlana Lukashenko "admitted her guilt and repented."

*Included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the register of foreign agents.
