Post in social network turns into fine imposed on Kizlyar resident

A court in Kizlyar (a city in Dagestan) has fined Saadula Zakaryaev, a local resident, for violating the rules of organizing a rally after he had posted an invitation in a social network for his subscribers to take part in filming a video about cars.

According to investigators, Zakaryaev posted a video in his social network page in which he invited his subscribers to take part in filming of a video about drifting (driving a car in a controlled drift, – note from the "Caucasian Knot").

Law enforcers have treated it as organizing people's mass gathering. At that time, about 11,600 users were subscribers to Zakaryaev's page in the social network. The Kizlyar City Court fined him by 20,000 roubles, the "OVD Info"* project has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on April 13 it became known that the court had fined a Magomedbeg Magomedov, a resident of Dagestan, treating his posts in a social network about Russian militaries in Ukraine as discrediting the Russian Army.
