Teenager convicted of high treason complains about threats in penal colony

Kevin Lik, an 18-year-old teenager from Adygea, convicted of high treason, claims that after he has complained about being deprived of contacts with the outside world, he began receiving threats of physical violence in the penal colony.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on July 2, it became known that Kevin Lik arrived to serve his sentence in the penal colony in the Arkhangelsk Region. The young man is being subjected to administrative pressure, his support group reports in the “Story of Kevin Lik” Telegram channel.

Kevin Lik wrote letters to his mother and his friend, but not a single letter was received from him, since the letters were kept under censorship.

Let us remind you that in early June, Kevin Lik was transferred from a SIZO (pre-trial prison) in Krasnodar to the Arkhangelsk Region, and his relatives complained that contacts with him had been lost.

On December 28, 2023, Kevin Lik was sentenced to four years of imprisonment for high treason. According to the law enforcement bodies’ version, the teenager committed the crime of high treason when he was still a 17-year-old schoolboy.

According to the investigators’ version, Kevin Lik provided assistance to Germany in activities against the security of Russia. The investigators suggest that the teenager observed a local military unit and photographed its locations.
