In July 2024, no victims were recorded in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In July 2024, no information was received about any victims in the armed conflict on going in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

In all the regions of Northern Caucasus, which include Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania, Stavropol Territory and Chechnya, no armed incidents or victims thereof were recorded.

This is only the second month of the year, after January, that went by without victims.

The above statistics cannot present the number of victims with 100-percent accuracy. Not all the data get into news tapes. It is not always possible to verify the accuracy of the statements made by law enforcement bodies; and new data on the events of the reporting period sometimes become known after the publication of statistics by the "Caucasian Knot".

Earlier, in June 2024, 71 victims were recorded. In Dagestan, five civilians and 17 law enforcers perished; six suspected militants were killed, and at least 43 other people were wounded.
