Caucasian experts: it is too early to talk about possible blood feud caused by incident at “Wildberries” Company’s office
According to the Vainakh traditions, blood feud is declared after all the facts have been established. Then specific names must be publicly announced and the arguments of the family clan against whom the blood feud is declared must be listened to. In the shooting incident which occurred at an entrance to an office of the “Wildberries” Company in Moscow, in which people from Chechnya and Ingushetia participated, it is too early to talk about blood feud, because the guilty persons have not been identified, Caucasian experts note.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that a video was posted on social networks showing Adam Almazov, a native of Ingushetia, wounded near the “Wildberries” Company’s office. Social media users stated that relatives of the killed men may resort to blood feud if witnesses indicate that the gunfire was directed at unarmed people.
The procedure for declaring blood feud is strictly regulated, notes human rights defender Izabella Evloeva. “A man must be personally notified that the blood feud is being declared against him. In the current conditions, such notification would be equal to suicide,” Izabella Evloeva eplained.
With reference to her sources, the human rights defender added that when taking the bodies of killed Islam Elmurziev and Adam Almazov, influential people from Ingushetia took an oath not to forgive their killers.
In connection with the incident near the “Wildberries” Company’s office, reliable facts must be established, and the very declaration of revenge will not solve the problem, stated Bagautdin Myakiev, a member of the Ingush Council of Teips. He has also added that the participants of the conflict who understand that there is blood on their hands must repent by their own will.
The Ingush Council of Teips has also emphasized the main problem is that the authorities of both Chechnya and Ingushetia have not responded to the killing.
