Chechen fighter demands response from "Russian Community"
Ibragim Islamov ("Nikarkho"), a Pop-MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter, has called on the "Russian Community" to meet with him in connection with the incident with Chechen children in the Moscow district of Lyublino. At the same time, he called on his supporters to "control themselves," promising that "those guilty will admit their mistake."
As reported by the “Caucasian Knot”, residents of the Lyublino District in Moscow filmed a video in which they stated that activists of the "Russian Community" had tried to illegally detain Chechen children. The police were called to the venue; and the representative office of the head of Chechnya in Moscow got involved in the situation. Later, a video appeared, recorded before the conflict with the Chechen women, in which "Russian Community" activists demanded an apology from a young man for performing Lezginka dance with his sister in the courtyard of a Moscow residential complex. The young man apologized, but they didn’t allow him to leave until the police arrived. Chechen teenagers were not involved in the conflict, but they witnessed it. Activists of the "Russian Community", while hiding their faces, stated in the video that they did not use unacceptable methods against children in Lyublino, noting that they faced aggression from local residents and threats in social networks.
The Chechen MMA fighter, Ibragim Islamov ("Nikarkho"), has visited the "Lyublinsky Park" Residential Complex, the venue of local residents’ incident with the "Russian Community", including Chechens, the Telegram channel "ChP Chechnya" reported on June 19. The fighter demanded that the participants in the incident meet him for a talk. "We want to ask you about this situation at the ‘Lyublinsky Park; where at least 50 Chechens live, and al least the same number of our brothers from Northern Caucasus. You were lucky that none of them were there and you started a showdown with children aged 8-11. You wanted to take them somewhere; and you staged a showdown with women. Come immediately with the police. And we will be with the police too in order to mutually resolve this issue," follows from the video attached to the report.
Today, in the stories in his Instagram* page, Ibragim Islamov called on his supporters to "keep themselves in hand," saying that "thousands of people" are writing to him. "The process has started. Under no circumstances, don’t succumb to provocations, and don’t try to ‘execute’ anything, as they can ‘put you behind bars’. We’ll do everything correctly, and those guilty will admit their mistake," the fighter has stated.
According to his story, many ask him about the place and date for a meeting with the "Russian Community." "This is not necessary. This is what everyone is waiting for. Therefore, we’ll solve everything correctly," he has added.
Ibragim Islamov is a 23-year-old native of Sernovodsk; he grew up in Moscow. He takes part in Pop-MMA fights, has won five of eight fights and lost three of them, according to the information from the “MMA.Express” website.
