Drone attack threat in Dagestan cancelled

The Emergencies Ministry has announced the cancellation of the drone attack threat in Dagestan. According to the military, 36 drones were shot down over three regions of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts overnight.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, at 02:20 Moscow time, the Emergencies Ministry announced the drone attack threat in Dagestan.

The drone attack threat has been cancelled, the Emergencies Ministry's Department for Dagestan reported on its Telegram channel. "The threat of a UAV attack in the Republic of Dagestan has been allayed," the publication says.

According to the Ministry of Defense, 105 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones were destroyed and intercepted overnight, including 23 in the Rostov Region, eight in the Krasnodar Region, five in Stavropol, and nine over the Sea of Azov. The remaining drones were shot down in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Oryol regions, the department’s Telegram channel said.

To recap, today the authorities reported drone attacks in the Stavropol and Krasnodar regions and in the Rostov region region.

In particular, the governor of Stavropol reported that 37 drones were shot down over Nevinnomyssk, and "this was the most massive attack on Stavropol Krai."

Two people were injured in a drone attack at the Timashevsk train station. According to regional authorities, several houses of local residents were damaged in other populated areas of Kuban and Rostov Oblast.

On the night of July 24, the authorities of North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Stavropol Krai, as well as the mayor's offices of Novorossiysk and Anapa, announced the threat of a drone attack. That same night in Sochi, two women were killed in a drone attack, and 11 more people were injured.

On July 23, two women and a man were taken to a hospital in Novocherkassk, injured in a drone attack. Shakhty, Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky and Aksaysky districts of the Rostov region were also attacked, and fires and damage to houses were recorded in several settlements.
