Defense Ministry reports drones shot down in southern Russia

Last night, the military destroyed 61 drones launched from Ukraine in the Krasnodar region and over the Black Sea.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night, at an oil depot in the Adler region, as a result of a drone attack, a tanker with 2,000 cubic meters of oil products caught fire. Five garages in a garage cooperative and a store on Aviatsionnaya Street were also damaged. According to the authorities, there are no casualties.

Sochi residents were denied assistance after a drone attack

Tenants of residential garages in Sochi, where a drone fell on the night of July 25 the wreckage of the drone, complained that they did not receive assistance from the authorities for the lost property. Lawyers advised them to seek compensation.

Around 02:30 Moscow time, the Sochi airport was suspended to ensure flight safety. By 05:00 Moscow time, the restrictions were lifted.

In March, a fire broke out at an oil depot in the village of Kavkazskaya after a drone attack. It took seven days to extinguish it. In the comments to the governor's report on the fire's elimination, social media users asked questions about the environmental damage and measures to prevent successful drone attacks.

The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory should have requested assistance from other regions to extinguish the fire at the oil depot, rather than trying to downplay the seriousness of the situation, social media users said. Residents of Kropotkin complained about deteriorating health due to smoke and soot from the oil depot.
