A queue of cars formed in front of the Crimean Bridge in Kuban

Drivers of 1,050 cars are waiting to cross the Crimean Bridge in Krasnodar Krai, another 50 cars are in line from the Kerch side.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the morning of August 2, 1,500 cars were in line to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side , another 1,100 were standing on the Kerch side. The appearance of the line was preceded by a stop in traffic on the bridge.

As of 09:00 Moscow time, 1,050 cars are in line to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side, the Information Center for Highways to the Crimean Bridge reported on its Telegram channel. "The waiting time is more than three hours. There are 50 vehicles in line for manual inspection from the Kerch side," the publication says.

According to hourly reports, from 21:00 Moscow time on August 2 to 02:00 Moscow time on August 3, there were no lines in front of the bridge, then a line formed in Krasnodar Krai.

Today, users of the "Crimean Bridge Chat" Telegram chat also reported traffic jams. "We went through inspection from the Taman side. We got stuck in a traffic jam at 5:48, and at 8:35 we drove onto the bridge. In total, with inspection, 2:45," wrote, in particular, Svetlana Novozhilova.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, and two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, and the FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Traffic on the bridge was restored a month later.
