As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, most often over the past week, residents of Dagestan complained to the Regional Control Center about the lack of electricity and lack of water. The largest number of complaints, 3,474, came from Makhachkala. Kaspiysk is in second place in terms of the number of complaints.

The treatment plants of Kaspiysk temporarily suspended operations due to the lack of electricity. "In different areas of Kaspiysk, there may be interruptions in water supply or its complete absence. The restoration time depends on the resumption of electricity supply to the station. After the water supply is restored, temporary turbidity of the water is possible. Such turbidity is temporary and, as a rule, disappears after you drain the water from the tap for several minutes. We recommend that in the first hours after the resumption of water supply, you use it only for household needs, and for drinking and cooking - pre-settle or boil it," the Kaspiysk administration reported on the evening of August 10 in its Telegram channel, asking residents "to be understanding of the temporary inconvenience."

This morning, the authorities reported that the work of the treatment facilities was stopped after a fire on one of the feeders, the presumed cause being a lightning strike.

The administration also left phone numbers for collecting applications for water delivery and reported that water can be obtained for free from machines at selling clean water.
