Court of North Ossetia postpones decision on re-registration of "Voice of Beslan"

Today, the Supreme Court of North Ossetia has again postponed making decision on re-registration of the committee named "Voice of Beslan" - this time because of the absence of the new chairperson of the committee.

Ella Kesaeva, co-chairperson of the "Voice of Beslan", has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the members of the committee had asked to hold the session without the new chairperson of the organization Marina Melikova, but the court refused to do it, having explained its decision by the absence of Ms Melikova's notification about the reason of her non-appearance to the Supreme Court.

Earlier, the victims had addressed the Investigatory Committee of North Ossetia with a demand to recognize the documents, on the basis of which the court decision had been passed, to be falsified. Ms Kesaeva thinks that Marina Melikova is waiting for the decision of the Investigatory Committee, and, therefore, would not appear at the Court. In this connection, the session was postponed till December 18.
