Khidriev brothers accused of blowing up the "Neva Express" train are still in SIZO

Ayup Khidriev, brother of Maksharip and Amirkhan Khidrievs, accused of blowing up the "Neva Express" passenger train, has informed that there are no new circumstances in the case of his brothers, and they are still kept in the SIZO (pre-trial detention facility). In his opinion, it is a direct violation of Russian legislation.

He has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he is now in Ingushetia but is going to leave for Veliki Novgorod, where his brothers are kept, right after presidential elections in Russia on March 2.

Gennady Oklov, Maksharip Khidriev's advocate, has informed that investigatory actions are currently underway, in which he takes part as a defender.

"I was appointed to be Mr Khidriev's advocate. The Khidriev family pays no additional money for my services; therefore, I'm not interested to visit my client beyond the mandatory schedule. Should Khidriev's relatives stimulate me, I, certainly, shall exhibit a greater interest in his case. Last time I saw Maksharip Khidriev last week. The conditions of his custody are normal, better than in ordinary SIZO," Gennady Oklov said.

According to his story, there is no joint work with the advocate of Salambek Dzakhkiev, another defendant of blowing up the "Neva Express" train.
