In Azerbaijan, police detained "Dalga" activists

Today, the police of the capital of Azerbaijan has detained 14 activists of the "Dalga" (Wave) youth movement who tried to hold a memory action dedicated to Mamed Emin Rasulzade, founder of the Azerbaijani People's Republic (1918-1920) and dated to his 124th birthday.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the 9th Police Station of Baku that young activists were detained for violation of the public order.

Today, the participants of the movement were planning to lay flowers to the place where a monument to the founder of the Azerbaijani People's Republic Mamed Emin Rasulzade should have been erected - in the mini-park in the centre of Baku.
