Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice will set to opposition
On September 2, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan ordered that the Ministry of Justice analyzed the appearance of the leaders of opposition parties on the state television. An insult of President Geydar Aliyev is imputed to them.
Ali Akhmetov, a representative of Geydar Aliyev in the CEC, declared at the meeting of the Commission that on August 29 the presidential contenders Ali Kerimli, the leader of the National Front Party's reformatory wing, and Etibar Mamedov, the chairman of the Party of National Independence, had broken a norm of the electoral code by insulting Geydar Aliyev in their appearances.
The presidential election in Azerbaijan will be held on October 15.
