Kokoity: residents of South Ossetia will make their own conclusion on the work of authorities

Eduard Kokoity treats ironically the publications in the press to the effect that the South Ossetia president tries to take into his own hands the control over the financial flows from Moscow, allocated for the republic's rehabilitation. He says people will make their own conclusions.

Yuri Morozov, former prime-minister of South Ossetia, claimed earlier in an interview to "Kommersant" newspaper that, in his opinion, president Eduard Kokoity tries to take the financial flows coming to the republic away from the control of Moscow and switch them over to himself.

The "Caucasian Knot" asked Kokoity if he considered such publications as the beginning of an information attack against the South Ossetia president. Kokoity answered that he treated this "very ironically".

"I can make a proposal to all those who want to spend money on paid publications. I can build a rostrum in the center of Tskhinval, in front of the government building, near the fountain. I allow them to say whatever they want about the president and the government, every day and in front of all people. Let them speak. And let people listen, they are going to make their own conclusions. The money thus saved may be spent on reconstructing the infrastructure of South Ossetia", stated Kokoity.
