South Ossetia reports shelling from Georgia's side
The MIA of South Ossetia has reported that yesterday, on March 25, late at night, the South-Ossetian village of Mugut was shelled from the Georgian side. Nobody suffered.
We remind you that after the 2008 August conflict the situation in the Georgia-South Ossetia border is still very tense.
The message about the shelling arrived yesterday at 10:20 p.m. to the duty unit of the MIA of South Ossetia. According to the message, the fire was delivered from Georgian village named Dvani. The post of Russian militaries in Mugut was also shelled.
The MIA spokesman has noted that such incidents have become more frequent recently. Thus, according to his story, at night on March 24 a single grenade launcher shot was made on Mugut from Dvani, while on March 20, a mortar was shooting from the same Georgian village.
The Georgian party gave no comments on this information.
