Because of opposition's actions, Parliament of Georgia works in hotel

Because of large-scale actions of the opposition in the centre of Tbilisi, the Parliament of Georgia has actually moved to the hotel "Sheraton Metekhi Palace" and tries to work from there.

In the "Sheraton Metekhi Palace" David Bakradze, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, holds meetings on the situation in the country with members of diplomatic corps. Here today they also receive a parliamentarian delegation of Spain. And committees of the Parliament have left to districts to hold their travel sessions there, as the "New Region" writes.

Meanwhile, Eric Furniet, Ambassador of France to Georgia, has stated today before his meeting with David Bakradze in hotel "Sheraton Metekhi Palace" that for him, as a diplomat, meeting the leader of the Parliament in a hotel because "a number of persons had decided to act against the democratic constitution" is unacceptable.

David Bakradze, in his turn, has stated that "today the authorities of the country have to bear too much that many democratic governments would not agree to, but the authorities do it for the sake of democracy and political pluralism," as the "Georgia Online" writes.
