Report of Beslan commission will be ready about 20s of December
Senator Oleg Panteleev, member of the federal parliamentary commission on Beslan, has reported on Friday that the commission's report will be presented to parliament in the 20s of December this year. Mr. Panteleev has emphasized, that the documentary part of investigation into the events in Beslan is practically finished, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
Meanwhile, the court of the Pravoberezhny District of North Ossetia, which continues hearings on the case of former commanders of Beslan District Interior Department ("ROVD"), is now interrogating the militiamen qualified as witnesses. During the interrogation, the litigation participants quite often confront significant discrepancies between their evidences before the court and what they had said at the stage of preliminary investigation. In the opinion of the victims, the case was not free from "conspiracy, treachery and pressure," exerted on the witnesses who "have suddenly changed their evidences."
At the regular session on Tuesday, as much as six interrogated employees of the Pravoberezhny ROVD, road police ("GIBDD") inspectors and precinct militia inspectors refused from their evidences presented at the stage of preliminary investigation.
