Committee for defence of the rights of the "GALA" TV Company set up in Armenia

The press club named "Asparez" located in the city of Gyumri, Armenia, has founded a committee for defence of the rights of the "GALA" TV Company. Chairman of the club Levon Barsegyan has informed journalists about it.

According to his story, the events around the TV Company indicate that the authorities are going to stop its broadcasting, and try to do it as soon as possible. The statement of the "Asparez" club that was disseminated yesterday, on December 11, invites all sound forces of the society to support the "GALA" TV Company. "The time has come to rise in defence of the freedom of speech," the statement of the "Asparez" club runs.

We remind you that the "GALA" TV Company, which is broadcasting to the second largest city of Armenia, is now defendant in two criminal cases at the same time.
