Explosion in South Ossetia qualified as a terror act

"So far, it has been established that gelatine explosive was used. The conclusion was made outgoing from the power of the explosion and the character of the damage. According to preliminary data, the explosive was triggered by means of a telephone. The explosion was directed from the glove box, located between the seats of the car," a well-informed source in law enforcement bodies has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the source, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia possesses information about the organizers of the explosion.

"There is data, according to which Georgia will undertake provocative actions from December 12 to December 30. Now, the Georgian party is trying to liquidate those people who could hamper them. There is information that these issues were entrusted to Devi Chelidze, head of the regional department of the Ministry of State Security of Georgia. Today, it is very important for them to destabilize the situation in the conflict zone. According to our data, it is connected with the forthcoming elections in Georgia.
