Khazbiev: at May rally in Ingushetia opposition will demand to return Ruslan Aushev to the Republic

At the rally that is planned in Ingushetia in May the opposition will demand to return the first President of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev back as the Republic's President. This was stated today by businessman Magomed Khazbiev, head of the organizing committee of nationwide rally of Ingushetia.

According to Khazbiev, Aushev is the only person capable to cope with the situation in the Republic. Mr Khazbiev marks that Ruslan Aushev is highly respected all over Ingushetia.

Magomed Khazbiev, who spoke today on air of the "Echo Moskvy" Radio, has remarked that the authorities of Ingushetia have sunk in corruption. "Bottoms up, corruption dominates in the Republic. None of them come to work, everyone comes to profit. And everyone is a thief," said the oppositionist.

Apart from corruption, Khazbiev is concerned with the fact that the law enforcement bodies of the Republic are recruiting in hundreds of young employees aged 18-20 years, and immediately arm them. "They get arms in hand and vandalize their peer compatriots. They can plant something into one's pocket, extort money or detain for no reason. People say in our country that the most terrible weapon is the weapon in coward's hands," Khazbiev said, noting that people should not put up with it.

Meanwhile, Khazbiev would not think him to be an oppositionist. "I dislike people saying that we are oppositionists. We are sons of our nation, we have pain in our hearts and we just don't want staying at home talking how bad everything around is," Mr Khazbiev has noted, adding that there are not so many people of this sort as he would like to see.
