South Ossetia releases detained Georgian

Tonight, the authorities of South Ossetia released Temur Goginashvili, a resident of Georgian village Nikozi, who was detained earlier on murder charges.

Today in the morning, about 50 friends and relatives of the detainee have blocked traffic in direction of Tskhinvali near Ergneti village located in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone, and would not agree to stop the action until his release.

The "Interfax" reports, with reference to Georgian MIA, that now the former detainee interrogated in Gori on the circumstances of his arrest; then he will be delivered to his native village.

In Tskhinvali, meanwhile, sources assert that the Georgian power agencies have completely blocked the traffic across illegally set up posts in Georgian villages of South Ossetia.

"Today in the morning Georgian power agents again blocked the traffic across their illegal checkpoints. Actions of this sort are deliberately creating tension in the conflict zone and are purposefully undertaken by the Georgian party{side} purposefully," the Committee for Information and Press has reported today with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia.
