Georgia reports kidnapping of six Zerti villagers
Georgian mass media report that in the evening on October 28 six males, residents of Zerti village, Gori District of Georgia, were kidnapped.
The incident happened yesterday evening, in a forest five kilometres off Zerti, where the men were procuring fire wood, "Our Abkhazia" reports. Their working tools and a car were later found in the forest.
The Georgian party has imposed the responsibility for the kidnapping on "armed South-Ossetian separatists."
The relatives of the kidnapped persons have reported that today one of the victims called them by phone and told that their release is possible in exchange for two residents of South Ossetia detained two days ago by Georgian policemen, the "Interfax" reports.
