Capital of South Ossetia has no water

On June 25, as a result of a failure of the main water supply line "Edici-Tskhinvali", the city of Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia, remained without water. City Mayor Robert Guliev has reported that the accident took place in Andis village, Tskhinvali District of South Ossetia.

"The pipe, which was crossing a ravine, has set down and cracked. The break is about a meter in diameter. Repairs started immediately after the crack was detected," the IA "Res" quotes Mayor Guliev as saying.

The reasons of the failure are not disclosed, and the "Interfax" adds that repairs are to be over by morning on June 26.
