Abkhazia to take part in a new round of Geneva debates

The delegation of Abkhazia will take part in the sixth round of Geneva debates on safety in Transcaucasia, planned to start on July 1. Tomorrow, on June 30, the Abkhazian delegation takes off for Geneva.

The delegation includes Maksim Gvindzhiya, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia; Vyacheslav Chirikba, Adviser of the President on International Issues; Lana Agrba, Head of the International Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Zeki Kapba, a Member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Abkhazian-Abasin People.

The "Caucasian Knot" was informed by Deputy Minister Maksim Gvindzhiya that the work will be run, as earlier, in two groups - on humanitarian issues and security problems. "We're bringing a set of proposals on humanitarian issues with us," Mr Gvindzhiya said but refused to disclose them.
