Russian Prosecutor's Office: law-enforcement bodies of Dagestan work inefficiently

The inspection conducted by a team of the Russian GPO in the law-enforcement bodies of Dagestan as to their efficiency in disclosing terrorist and extremist crimes and encroachments on life of law enforcers concluded their low efficiency.

"The GPO team has upheld the conclusions of the Republic's Prosecutor's Office that the efforts of local law-enforcement bodies in their operative work of disclosing terrorist and extremist crimes and encroachments on life of law enforcers, officials and religious figures is inefficient. In some cases the work on the cases of operative accounting was insufficiently active, in many cases actions were formal," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan.

As to the work of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan related to supervising the operative-search activities of its subordinate bodies, it was recognized to be satisfactory.
