About 1500 came to oppositional rally in Tbilisi
The rally in Tbilisi to mark 3 months after the start of the opposition's termless protest action, which should have gathered, under oppositionists' plans some 10,000 participants, was in fact about 1500-strong. It is reported by a Georgian journalist who is now in Tbilisi.
"I was driving past the Parliament and deliberately left my car to have a look - they were not so many there, just about fifteen hundred. The agenda is as usual: whichever oppositionist speaks, he or she blames the President as traitor of national interests. The same show goes on here for 3 months already," the source said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Prior to the rally, it was announced that some 10,000 persons, including partisan representatives of regional organizations, will come to mark three months after the start of mass protest actions with a demand of Mikhail Saakashvili's resignation.
