MIA of Chechnya has established the person of suicide bomber

The terrorist-suicide bomber, who has blown up militiamen today in the morning in the Shali District of Chechnya, was a member of the grouping of field commander Muslim Gakaev. His name was Magomed Shakhidov, a resident of Argun, as asserted by local law enforcers.

"The suicide bomber, who has blown himself up in Mesker-Yurt village of the Shali District, is identified. This was Magomed Shakhidov, a resident of the city of Argun," a source from the MIA said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "According to our operative information, this bandit was a member of the grouping of Muslim Gakaev, a native of Elistanzhi village, Vedeno District. A criminal case was opened on the incident."

The source has explained: "Today, at about 11 a.m., in Mesker-Yurt village, as a result of a terror act committed by a suicide bomber four law enforcers were killed and one more - heavily wounded. Also, two occasional civilians were lost."

It is already the fifth terror act in the last several months, committed by militants in Chechnya.
