Russian ICPO and Chechen MIA report differently about Shali suicide bombers

The Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia reports that suicide bombers came up to a police squad in the centre of Chechen city of Shali and triggered their bombs. However, the MIA of Chechnya asserts that the militants blew themselves up in the course of a special operation aimed to detain them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that last night in Shali Saikhan Uspanov and Adam Ustarkhanov triggered their "shahid belts". The terrorists were lost, and three militiamen, who took part in the operation, and three occasional civilians were wounded. Also, the car UAZ "Hunter" belonging to the Security Division of the Shali District and a private VAZ-21010 were damaged.

The press service of the ICPO reports that two suicide bombers came up to the squad of policemen in the central Shali, in the Ahmat Kadyrov Street, opposite the building of the city administration, by themselves and triggered their unidentified explosives, the "Rosbalt" writes.

Meanwhile, the press service of the local MIA gave another version of the incident: last night, law enforcers were checking operative data, and blocked two terrorists right in the street. During the blocking and detention attempt one of the terrorists blew him up; the other one was wounded and also triggered a self-explosion.

Inspectors assert that both militants were in the federal search for participation in IAFs and were members of Hussein Gakaev's grouping. According to the "Interfax", the venue is now studied by an investigatory team.
