Agent of Russian FSB shot dead in Ingushetia
On February 23, in Ordzonikidzevskaya village an employee of the Department for Ingushetia of the FSB (Federal Security Bureau) of the Russian Federation was killed as a result of shelling of his car.
"At about 7 p.m. Moscow time, unidentified persons opened fire on the Lada Priora car with Mikail Shadyzhev, a local FSB employee, and a resident of Nazran Amir Albogachiev inside," said a source from the local MIA.
As a result of the attack, Mikail Shadyzhev was shot dead and his fellow traveller - Amir Albogachiev - was wounded and hospitalized, the ITAR-TASS reports.
Let us note here that the situation in Ingushetia remains tense. Reports about bombardments, explosions and attempts arrive from the region practically on the daily basis. Thus, on February 21, also in Ordzonikidzevskaya village, two persons were wounded as the militia car was shelled.
On February 20, in the Ekazhevo-Ali-Yurt road junction, unidentified persons opened sub-machine gun fire at a Toyota Land Cruiser jeep with three residents of Surkhakhi village inside. All the passengers - A. M. Chukhraev, State Duma Deputy's assistant, and his relatives - were wounded and hospitalized. The attackers disappeared from the place of incident in a VAZ-21099 car.
On February 19, at about 11 p.m., in the Barsuki village, Nazran District, a service armoured "Volga" car was shelled. It was driven by the head of the inter-district registration-examination department (IDRED) of the Department for Ingushetia of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (STSI, know in Russia as "GIBDD") under the local MIA. The militiaman remained safe and sound.
