Soldier and militiaman wounded in southwest of Chechnya
On March 15, in the foothill Achkhoy-Martan District of Chechnya, an explosion of a land mine and shelling wounded a Russian military man and a Chechen militiaman. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent learnt about it in law enforcement bodies of Chechnya.
"In the morning on March 15, in a large forest in the vicinity of Bamut village, Achkhoy-Martan District, in the course of a scout-search actions held by militaries of a special unit of the Russian MIA, a scout group commander blew himself up on a land mine. He was hospitalized with plural fragmental wounds of his legs and body," said a source from the Chechen MIA.
According to his story, a couple of hours after that incident, at about 10:15 a.m., in the same district, near Yandi-Kotar village, militants shelled a "Zhiguli" car with MIA agents inside that was moving on the road. "As a result of the attack, the car driver was wounded in his leg," said the source.
Let us remind you that on March 14 at night in Bamut village as a result of counter fight with a group of militants, two employees of the MIA of Bashkiria, who took their service in the Ufa special-purpose squadron of the Internal troops - ensign Giyarov and corporal Malofeyev - were lost.
