Sochi starts ecology film festival "Green Carnation"
The first open ecology film festival "Green Carnation" will be held in Sochi on October 22-25. Public will see more than 30 full- and short-length feature films, movies for kids and retro movies.
The festival was organized by the "Sochi-2014" Olympic Organizing Committee jointly with the Development Foundation of Cultural, Educational and Ecological Initiatives "Green Carnation" and the International Fund for Social Programs and is a point on the agenda of the Cultural Olympiad "Sochi 2010-2014", launched in honour of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
The entrance of public to festival events is free, the "Interfax" writes.
Links of the man and nature make the main topic of the festival. Within the four festival days more than 30 full-length (over 60 minutes) and short (up to 60 minutes) films, movies for kids and retro movies will be put on the screen.
