Writer from Chechnya German Sadulaev is among top six writers of 2010

Yesterday, on December 2, Moscow announced the results of the major literary award of the country - the "Russian Booker Prize". The list of six top nominees included the writer from Chechnya German Sadulaev.

He was put on the list of laureates for his novel "Shali Raid". Elena Kolyadina from Cherepovets for her novel "Flower Cross" was recognized to be the prize winner, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Along with Sadulaev, the contenders were Oleg Zayonchkovskiy with his short novel "Happiness Possible"; Andrei Ivanov with his "Hanuman's Journey to Lolland"; Elena Kolyadina with "Flower Cross"; Mariam Petrosyan with the book "The House Where..."; and Margaret Hamlin with her "Klotsvog".
