Earlier kidnapped Magomed Taisumov, Sulim Yamadaev's associate, found dead in Chechnya

Former Chief of Staff of the "Vostok" battalion Magomed Taisumov, who was kidnapped on March 28 by unidentified persons, was found dead. According to his relatives, his body has signs of torture.

As reported by Isa Yamadaev, Taisumov's relative, "early this morning my relatives were visited by people from Magomed Khambiev - former defence minister of the so-called Republic of Ichkeria - and said that they had killed my brothers Ruslan and Sulim Yamadaev and Magomed Taisumov, and threw out the latter's body into our family village of Benoy," the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports. According to Isa, the body was found by the relatives; and "it clearly shows that he was brutally tortured; it has not a single gunshot wound."

Let us note here that before his reconciliation with Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, Isa Yamadaev had repeatedly stated that he believed that Kadyrov and his close associate Adam Delimkhanov had been organizers and customers of his brothers' murders. Later, Isa said that he was ready to forgive one of the two Dubai convicts for murdering Sulim Yamadaev - Makhdi Lorniya, personal horseman of Chechen President.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told, on the condition of anonymity, by a close friend of the Yamadaev family that "Ramzan Kadyrov achieved that Yamadaevs' blood feudists forgave them either. For example, the Yamadaevs were in a blood feud with the Khambievs, since the former had been involved in the kidnapping and subsequent murder of the Khambievs' younger brother."

In March 2004, Magomet Khambiev, who had fought for the militants, laid down his arms and surrendered to the authorities. On November 27, 2005, Khambiev was elected to the Parliament of the Chechen Republic.
