Suspect of involvement in murdering Sulim Yamadaev leaves hospital
Zelimkhan Mazaev, who was put on the search list by law enforcers of the UAE on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Sulim Yamadaev, ex-commander of the battalion "Vostok", has left the Sklifosovsky Emergency Care Research Institute, where he was put after his injury.
On February 20 in Moscow, Zelimkhan Mazaev accidentally wounded himself from a traumatic pistol and was hospitalized. The criminal case will not be opened, as only the owner of the pistol had suffered; and Mazaev has a permit to bear the pistol.
On February 21, at about 3:00 p.m. Moscow time, Zelimkhan Mazaev was transferred from the surgical intensive care unit to a regular ward; and then he refused from further treatment. He wrote a statement on refusal from further medical care and left the hospital at about 7:00 p.m., the "Interfax" reports.
According to doctors, the 31-year-old Zelimkhan Mazaev left the clinic having not properly healed the wound, although it was serious. Only about 20 hours passed from the surgery to the moment when Mazaev left the hospital, the "Life News" reports.
