Grant competition for organizations concerned with problems of refugees
The Danish Refugee Council, within the framework of the Caucasus NGO Networking Initiative program and with the financial support of the Danish Foreign Ministry, announces a grant competition for non-government organizations (NGOs) working with refugees in the Caucasian region. NGOs from the South Caucasian countries and the North Caucasian region can be participants in it. At least two NGOs from different regions are to take part in a project. It is a prerequisite for it to be admitted to the competition.
At least one of the NGOs applying for a grant is to be from the North Caucasian region. The preference will be given to the projects aimed, in particular, at making peace in the regions bordering upon and being in conflict with each other; at integrating refugee communities into negotiation processes; at monitoring and presenting analytical information about refugees on the territory of the Caucasian region and so on.
The deadline for applications is March 8, 2004.
