Chechen residents having done paperwork to get compensations evicted from refugee accommodations
A conflict is developing at temporary refugee accommodations in Grozny, Chechnya, in particular at the accommodation in B. Khmelnitskogo Street where 646 people live. The quarters of 574 of them are partially destroyed, and 72 have completely destroyed quarters. Eleven people from among the total number of the dwellers have received written notifications of compensations provided to them. Persons receiving such notifications must soon leave their rooms at the accommodation. The recipients of the notifications flatly disagree with that, because they have to leave the accommodation without having compensation cash on hand. The reason for the upcoming eviction of the recipients is that they formerly signed applications undertaking to leave their rooms after they receive such notifications.
