Former deputy head of Kabardino-Balkarian State Trade Inspection turns to UN Commission on Human Rights
Asya Gogunkova told she had been contesting her dismissal as the deputy head of the State Trade Inspection of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria for three years already.
She was fired allegedly because the number of employees in this department was reduced. But the regulation of the Russian Government in pursuance of which Ms Gogunkova was fired did not provide for the reduction in the number of federal State employees, to which she belonged. The country's judicial bodies ignore all her arguments.
Ms Gogunkova asks the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to reverse the decisions of the country's judicial bodies and to reinstate her in the position.
