Situation at Adjarian administrative border remains tense
The situation at the administrative border of the Adjarian Autonomy, Georgia, remains tense.
"The situation is quiet but still tense," Adjarian Interior Minister Djemal Gogitidze, who is responsible for law and order at the administrative border, said it to the Interfax news agency via phone on the night of March 16.
"Both the parties have taken no active steps after the Georgian president's ultimatum expired. However raised units have not been withdrawn form their stands," the minister said.
