Nino Burdjanadze to meet with Adjarian leader for talks

The speaker of the Georgian parliament, Nino Burdjanadze, flew to Adjaria's first city Batumi on Wednesday, March 17, for talks with Aslan Abashidze, leader of Georgia's autonomy.

She told reporters on March 16 that she was going to discuss with Abashidze a way out of the crisis situation that had arisen in relations between Tbilisi and Batumi.
