Georgia's MIA state preventing terror act in Tbilisi
As reported on June 13 by Nino Giorgobiani, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia, the terror act that had been planned in Tbilisi was prevented; and its organizers Mikhail Kadiev and Rizvan Omarov were detained.
According to Ms Giorgobiani, during the searches of detainees' homes, a large number of explosives and electric detonators were found. Also, the detainees had firearms and false documents.
The head of the press service of the MIA did not specify what nationals the detainees are, but noted that Kadiev was wanted by the Interpol for committing a crime in 2012 in one of European countries, the "Georgia-Online" reports.
Besides, the investigation has established that since 2011 the wanted Kadiev took refuge in Georgia, but from time to time quitted the country, the "InterpressNews" reports.
