Memorial: over 60 people abducted in Chechnya in 2004
60 people have been abducted in Chechnya since the beginning of 2004, human rights defenders from the Russian center Memorial announced on March 18. 26 people were released, 35 are missing, and 2 were found dead, said Dmitry Grushkin, Memorial's activist.
According to the human rights defenders' information, officers of Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov's personal security service prove to be involved in the abduction with increasing frequency, noted Dmitry Grushkin.
