Georgian Labor Party starts staging rallies
Shalva Natelashvili, the leader of the Georgian Labor Party, told a special briefing on April 19 that "the authorities of Mikhail Saakashvili have shamelessly rigged returns of the 28 March parliamentary elections," therefore the Labor Party refused to maintain constructive relations with the present authorities and started to stage protest rallies for the change of power. Shalva Natelashvili calls upon the whole Georgia "to teach the forgers some good sense and to take part in the actions for the protection of self-respect."
The first protest action is to be held at the parliament building simultaneously with the first session of the new Georgian parliament.
