On-line center for NGOs opens in Azerbaijan
The NGO News Service and Hot Line project, which includes the launching of the website www.ngo-az.org in Azerbaijani, was presented at the International Press Center on the initiative of the Center for Humanitarian Studies on April 26. The project is sponsored by the humanitarian organization CRS. So the On-line Republican Center for Azerbaijan NGOs started working.
The launching of the website of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) will give transparency to their work, noted head of the Center for Humanitarian Studies Avaz Gasanov. Due to the project, journalists interested in NGOs will be able to get any information on the role and program of work of the country's both registered and unregistered NGOs. Besides, addresses and information about actions being carried out and problems of the country's NGOs will also be presented on the website.
