2013, were found guilty by the Dzerzhinsky District Court and sentenced to prison terms ranging from 3 years and 10 months to 19 years in a high security colony.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that four natives of Dagestan were accused of involvement in Volgograd terror acts, namely: the brothers Magomednabi and Tagir Batirov, Alautdin Dadaev and Ibragim Magomedov. The prosecutor demanded 20 years of imprisonment for Magomedov and Dadaev each, and 3.5 years – for each of Batirov brothers.

The court found Dadaev and Magomedov guilty of participating in illegal armed formations (IAFs) and assistance to terrorist activities and sentenced each of them to 19 years of imprisonment in a high security colony, says the website of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The Batirov brothers were found guilty of aiding and abetting IAF members and sentenced to 3 years 10 months of high security colony each, followed by freedom restraint for 2 years.

According to investigators, Dadaev and Magomedov provided help to the terrorist group "Kadarskaya" created in Dagestan, which had planned, in late 2013, a terror attack on Volgograd. In particular, according to the prosecution, they provided their houses to IAF members as a shelter.

According to investigators, the Batirov brothers transported the suicide bombers from Dagestan to Volgograd, having bought bales of hay for disguising.
